This bowl is deep enough to turn a salad in and holds a generous amount. It is thrown in red earthenware clay and decorated with black slip overlaid with patterns of simple white dots on the inside and earthy colours and patterns on the outside. Green salad leaves look great against the black interior. It would also make a good medium sized fruit bowl.
