Penny Simpsons workshop and showroom THE STUDIO are situated in the pleasant village of Moretonhampstead, on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon in the south west of England. Moretonhampstead is home to many artists and crafts people, several of who have wokshops which are open to visitors. THE STUDIO is very easy to find, it is located near the middle of the village between the post office and the Court street car park.

The nearest stations are Exeter and Newton Abbot. Trains run reqularly and the journey takes about two and a half hours. Buses run from Exeter and Newton Abbot to Moretonhampstead. Bus times can be checked by telephoning 01392 - 427711 and train times can be checked by telephoning 0845 - 484950

By car
30 mins from Exeter on the B3212 via Dunsford - 15 mins from Bovey Tracy on the A382 which is just off the A38 Exeter - Plymouth road.

Visitors are welcome to see a good selection of work in my showroom in Moretonhampstead and to visit the workshop to see work in progress.

Opening times are:
MONDAY - FRIDAY 9.30 - 5.00
SATURDAY 10.00 - 12.00
SUNDAY - Closed
